I’m going to write this post from the bottom of my heart because I really care about you.
Seriously.
I am extremely pissed off of people telling someone ambitious and hungry like you that you can’t do anything that you want in life.
I don’t know if you feel the same way because it might have brought you to this blog post today looking for answers because you are hungry.
Super hungry for a breakthrough.
Super hungry to prove the world wrong.
Well, guess what? You are right and they are f****** wrong.
The fact that you are ambitious and hungry makes you the most beautiful man or woman on the planet whether you know it or not.
You have something to live for unlike most people who float through life like ghosts in a graveyard.
You are the light in the room and you beam out much brighter than the sun.
You just need some reassurance to awaken the living force within you.
Let me clarify a lot of what you are thinking about in a way that will make you superman or superwoman overnight.
Know That You CAN Do It
Listen to me very closely so you can fully process this.
You CAN do anything that you want in life provided that it’s legal.
Read that sentence again.
Let me explain what that sentence means in case you don’t fully understand it.
In reality, anything that you want is there for the taking.
Why?
Because people today are just flat out miserable and lazy.
Devoid of any enthusiasm except for “Let me go have drinks with my friends and share it on Instagram for the rest of my life!”
And because of that, everything is wide open.
All you have to do is buckle down, put in the work, hustle like a baller and you got it.
It’s that simple.
Of course, it isn’t easy. Nothing worth having in life is ever easy.
But it is possible and that wide open reality is there because people just don’t care today.
If you want further proof, I invite you to take a look at the people around you.
What do you see?
Smartphones.
They’re everywhere.
People just consume their entire lives to media content and they happily turn their attention over to it for immediate gratification.
You can read more about the significance of it here. I highly recommend you read it. It WILL open your mind to reality.
And like I said, that’s good news for you.
Why?
Your competition will be virtually nonexistent in the long run.
So if anyone tells you that you can’t win, their so wrong friend.
As long as you put your head down and work your ass off, you will win.
Mark my words!
And speaking of doubters,
Neglect Most Doubters
You heard that right.
Doubters are typically a sign that you are doing something right with your life.
Do you know what the real motivation of most doubters are?
They just want to suck all of the energy out of you because they know you are going somewhere and they are not.
They really have nothing else to do in life but to be like crabs and keep you in the boiling pot that they are about to die in.
On the other hand, there are doubters who actually want you to succeed, but are in a better position to assist you than most people, even if it’s just a testimonial.
These are the real experts in their craft.
They know the ins and outs of what they are doing and they are giving back to those who were in their shoes.
This is a big difference in the type of doubters that exist.
Do you want to know how all of the great people in their fields handle doubters?
I want you to read the articles here and here that explains this difference in great detail and in a clear way so you don’t detract from your goals.
Notice the difference?
You want to receive feedback from those who see flaws in your vision, but who believe that you can make your vision a reality and are just suggesting constructive criticism to get you on the right track versus those who blatantly disregard what you want to do in life.
So as an action step to get the attention of “wanted” critics, start something.
And while you are at it, do something that they say and go back and tell them that you did it.
They will LOVE this and at that point, you might be able to get them as your mentor.
Most likely, that mentor will be lower on the social totem pole than someone that you really want mentoring from, but this is a good start and you can work your way up from there.
But the bad doubters, ignore them friend.
They want to BRING you down.
And now for an extremely important point:
Know That Life Will Be Unfair, But You Are Stronger
Have you ever seen a NBA basketball game where a coach or a player goes off on the referee after a bad call and they ejected from the game?
It’s so funny; take a look real quick right here!
A son getting his dad ejected!
But seriously, on bad calls that don’t go your way, you must realize that you can’t change them.
You have to just go with it and move onto the next play because arguing about it is not going to solve anything.
In fact, you can grow from that bad call because chances are, when that bad call came, you did something wrong along the way.
Learning from your mistakes is the best teacher because when you blame yourself, you quickly realize all of the things that can make you grow better AND you can save yourself from the danger of dwelling in the past when in reality, there’s no benefit to it.
Let me add onto this point a lot further with another sports analogy:
Have you ever seen what typically happens when a sports team that was in the championship game the previous season does the very next season?
They dwell and can’t get it out of their heads.
As a result, they suffer.
I can give you a laundry list of teams that fall under this category, but the reality is that when there’s a bad call, deal with it and move on.
Life isn’t fair, but you are stronger than life itself because you believe in yourself so much that nothing will take you down from what you truly want in life.
And that will keep you going and ensure that you eventually win.
A Confession
Am I in it for the money?
Yes. Who wouldn’t be?
But do I care about you, dollars aside?
Yes.
Do you know why?
Because I genuinely want nothing more in life than to see you go out there and conquer the world just like you want to on your own path with no reservations whatsoever.
Almost everybody today goes through life without asking themselves what they want to do.
Do you know what happens to them?
They become ghosts in the graveyard at a very young age because they don’t have a purpose in life.
And that is a recipe for disaster if you want to live the life of your dreams my friend.
If you know what you want, you go after that thing like a raging bull chasing the Matador down, with the Matador as life trying to run away from your fury that will soon dominate the planet.
Because before you realize it, you will dominate the planet and you will rule over those people who did not believe you and the ones who decided not to go after what they wanted.
Believe me.
Let this song here convince you of that reality.
