Do you have patience my future islander?

No really, do you have patience?

The patience to endure the thriller?

The patience to be moving when all might seem lost?

Well, here’s the thing, whether you know it or not, ya gotta have it.

Newsflash:

THAT’S A LIE!

Patience is the ultimate killer in this fast paced world that we live in.

Typically, patience induces procrastination and a sense of calm that is not conducive for reaching your goals and getting to the island!

Ok back to my speech!

Understand this: Everybody wants things NOW!

They don’t want to have to wait.

They want to be over and done with.

And unless you have a direct learning disability that affects your processing speed, and even so the world will not sympathize, you must accept this reality as such.

How is this so? Let’s see:

Suppose that I work for a large company and I have a $200 million deal that I must close now or else I will lose the deal and I will not just lose the deal, but I’ll lose my company’s credibility, our brand will suffer, and possibly disappear, and I’ll lose my job.

And hence, I won’t be able to get to the island to get the control that I desire.

If you say “Let’s close the deal when the time is right.”

When the time is right?

That means “You are not my priority.”

In most cases.

Who likes to be told that?

NO ONE!

Now how do you get to the point of not being patient?

Well, it’s starts with a self-assessment.

A self-assessment of what you CAN control and CAN’T control.

Now, let’s start with this:

What you CAN’T control is the fact that you will not get rich or massively successful overnight.

That’s not gonna happen.

You MUST be patient with that.

That’s the exception to the law of no patience.

The other things: The law and ya gotta eat.

You gotta obey those at all times.

No excuses!

Now, what you CAN control is this:

– The type of business/career that you want to build

– A “Think and Grow Rich” timeframe of becoming successful and achieving what you want

– How you’ll treat people (and certain ones of course)

– Growing your mental aptitude

– Smiling

– Developing grit

And that list is endless.

And with those things that you can control, you can NEVER be patient in pursuing them.

Because, the longer the wait, the longer you’ll get there.

You must be running like a pack of wild horses, hyenas, a crazy killer, or like you have a final in 1 hour and you have to learn everything in that 1 hour!

Pick one and go!

Run Forrest Run!

And for what you shall demand my future islander/lion:

The best.

Nothing less.

Anything less is honestly a disgrace to yourself.

Develop world class perfection in everything.

No mistakes.

Of course, you’ll make mistakes along the way as part of the learning process, but once that learning process is 99.99% done with, no mistakes!

Inexcusable!

Now how do you use the things that you CAN control to get what you need?

Well, if you’ve been in an emergency or broke, you know what it is.

But for the rest of you, the answer is simple:

GO!

And don’t think, FEEL! Note: Not in every situation of course like investing where you MUST think.

It is like a finger pointing away to the moon.

That finger is all of the clutter that blocks you from your decision.

That moon is your purpose AND it already has your answer.

So why not focus on that and GO?!

Please note: The moon has ALL of that heavenly glory that you desire.

That sense of URGENCY is the new virtue?!

To know that laid back is BAD and hyper is GOOD?!

That being the “Uh, hi, my name is Bob and I work at the auto insurance agency” type is SO not rad and being that jumping bean running around is so much more fun and cool?!

That being crazy is freakin’ AWESOME and being a chill dude is so unacceptable?!

And believe me, being super weird is a freakin’ great thing; your mind gets into a super different place that no one else gets to and you actually believe that you CAN do anything!

Just see the look on everyone else’s faces; that’s truly the dessert!

I laugh in my head every time people give me that shocked face; please do it, it’ll give you so much pride and actually validate what you’re doing!

Man that was a trip!

If I’ve helped ya so far, I am truly elated by that and I SOOOOOOOOOOO thank you my future islander!

Trust me, when you get here, it’s gonna be so lit!
