You might have heard that those who get more are going to have more. That is true. The real question is why do they get to that point?Why is it that they get more than everyone else? Well, the answer to that question is that they give. A lot. A lot a lot. And when they give a lot, they get everything. And that is the beauty of giving.
When you provide value and give people what they want, you will get what ever you want in return. Respect, honor, money, wealth, power, women (or men if you’re a woman), your own statue, etc.
You see my future islander, the world runs on something called the Law of Reciprocation when it comes to giving and receiving. Reciprocation is the process in which if you give a certain amount of something valuable, the party benefiting from you giving that certain amount of something valuable will provide you with something of greater or equal value in return. Many times, you can do this without even charging a thing. You just give to them randomly.
And in fact sometimes, assuming that you are genuine and sincere, you should be doing that. Because subconsciously, to the person on the receiving end, they’ll say “Oh wow, this person (you) is making me feel special. Say, he really does care about people. What a nice soul that young man (or woman) is! I will make certain that I do business with him again!” And that sets up the foundation for what will be discussed in today’s blog post.
My future islander, the beauty of giving is very simple to understand, but you might have questions as to why the heck you should seize the beauty. Here are some possible answers to your questions.
You Get to Be the Drug
“What?! I thought we were supposed to say no to drugs?!” You are correct my friend, you do say no to drugs. But here’s the thing, you must say no to the consumption of drugs. We never talked about the production of drugs.And no, I don’t mean narcotics nor marijuana nor tobacco nor any other “substance.” Those are garbage and you should never engage with them EVER!
But what I do mean is a product or service that you create that will inject the feel good neurotransmitter known as dopamine. Now what the hell do I mean by that? Well, let’s break this down.
Why do you go out to a party playing a bunch of EDM music with your friends and you all just blast off for the entire night? Because it makes you feel good. It gets you excited. It gives you euphoria. It sends you to an instant vacation. It gratifies you. And that is exactly what a drug does to certain people.
The reason why they’re addicted to it is because it makes them feel good RIGHT NOW. And in fact, any product, not just drugs, that makes people feel good right now will sell like hotcakes. And if you provide people with such a product or service that injects that dopamine, you’re gonna get those sales. And then some. This could also be done if you provide a product that solves a legit problem. And the reason for that is because you will get them so excited that they have found their magic “golden ticket” and that they will achieve success.
Just think of it this way: When an eye surgeon successfully repairs someone’s vision, the first thing that they become is extremely excited (or they cry) as a result of getting their vision. That response came from the procedure, which was the drug that triggered the excited response in the patient. In short, when you make people feel good, you ARE the drug and you become contagious. People can’t do without you.
And when they can’t do without you, they will become content with their situation and they will continue to purchase what you sell or do whatever you say in order to remain content and they won’t even question overthrowing you because they simply can’t do without you. Heck, they won’t even think about overthrowing you. With this, you are essentially in power and no one will even care. They’re happy and they will not change. And that leaves you with a potential monopoly. And this is really the art of overthrowing without overthrowing. It is pure manipulation of the circumstances.
In short, say no to any drug that is a narcotic, say no to consuming drugs, but give a big fat YES to producing them. A lot of them.
You Become The Legend
On top of becoming the drug comes a great and necessary benefit of a great man or woman. Over the long run, if you keep providing, you will become, as Bob Barker puts it, not just a legend, but THE legend. Let me explain.
What do most legends have in common throughout history? They have made a positive impact of some kind. You know you go from many greats like Jesus Christ to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to Gandhi to your most favorite teacher in school to a guy who genuinely says hi to you everyday.
Every one of these legends provided some sort of positivity to other people or delivered a purpose that was so gravitating that you just couldn’t resist it. You just had to get in line with everyone else in a way.
Essentially, when you give give give and you genuinely care for servicing your people (customers), you become unforgettable and you become what every legend that I listed above has become: Timeless.
You are passed down for ages upon ages upon ages. You become a tradition. You’re a hero. Every generation that follows you will remember who you are, what you stood for, and what you achieved for the greater good of the people. And on top of that, you became happy and lived happily in the process. And that’s a successful life. Why wouldn’t you want that?! That sounds like a great deal to me!
And that’s really all you have to do. You have to give give give like it’s Thanksgiving and then you will get lots of big presents from Santa Claus on Christmas! Give presents, give value, give some random love, make someone giggle or smile and become unforgettable. Be that main man (or woman) at that dinner table on Thanksgiving and put some love in it can ya? Everyone needs love, just like the Beatles sang! Just give it to them and you are the legend!

My future islander the go-giver, when you give give give, you literally BLAST the competition out of the water! In fact, when you give give give, there is NO COMPETITION WHATSOEVER! Because everyone is so full of themselves without any consideration for the needs of others and what they want!
Now, you can absolutely be selfish, internally you must believe that you will run the entire world and it’ll go through you and no one but you, but to obliterate the competition, you must cater to your audience. And that isn’t going to change. And it has to be the most effective way of solving the customer’s problem. Because if it isn’t solved, there is no feel good around you. And you want them to feel good around you so that they can give you what you want don’t ya? If you don’t, you are on the wrong blog and the wrong planet.
Because on Join the Island, we help others get what they want, but we dominate everything to. And when I mean everything, I mean e-ver-y-thing. You got it? Ok, good. Because that’s what ya gotta do on Planet Earth if you’re gonna get what ya want.
And notice that I didn’t write “great” after “Ok.” Because good is NOT GOOD ENOUGH! YOU DON’T GET TO BE GOOD AND DOMINATE. THAT IS NOT GONNA CUT IT!

And if you do that with progressive realization to an idealized and predetermined goal, you will dominate and no one will beat you. Guaranteed. You’ll want it more. And you’ll get more. Guaranteed.
Your Next Task
My future islander winners, you have come this far in this blog post and you have realized the importance of giving and giving and giving in order to become the legend and to ultimately dominate in everything that you do.
So, here is your task:
1. Say and visualize in your mind to win no matter what; no losing!
2. Focus everything that you do to serve the customer or the party benefiting from what you are providing.
3. Identify what that person wants, or what the people want, and use what I’d like to call an “interest card” to arouse in them an interest in you and your services. For example, you both like the New York Yankees. Find a way to incorporate it to get them to like you and to listen to you.
4. Articulate and demonstrate how you or your product is the most effective solution to solving their problems.
5. Follow up with something genuinely nice like a birthday card, thank you cookies, a message in the product to invite them back and to display other products that you are selling, or a professional email that is positive and funny (this one would depend on your situation of course since many situations call for different forms of follow up).
6. Repeat.
